There is a lot of misinformation today about ketogenic diets and the effect they have on your hormones. This is partially because its a fad and partially because its being talked about A LOT and people that produce contrary products need to speak out against it in order to keep selling their products… When you are seeing people talk about the research that implies that ketogenic diets have an adverse effect on your hormones they are actually talking about LOW CARB research….That is not the same as ketogenic dieting and that research. Look I am not saying that ketogenic diets are GREAT for everybody or even appropriate for 95% of people that are on them but REALLY REALLY do your research and fully understand what you are reading. I have lived keto for many many years now. It is the only effective solution for my hormone and adrenal issues. It is hands down the best thing I have ever done. When people say it is not sustainable that is just not true. When people say its complicated to follow properly no not true either; once you know your plan you just eat it. When people say you can never have a treat thats not true, you have them on occasion. There are MANY great books out there please read…..
